This view shows a summary of the expenditure budget for the entire State of Nevada. The total amount is broken down by the basic functions of government. You can click on any row to see more detailed views of the budget. You can also look at the Statewide budget from other perspectives by selecting one of the additional view options to the right.

The State of Nevada budgets for a "biennium," or a period of two fiscal years. A fiscal year is July 1 through June 30 of the following calendar year. The Budget Version menu provides options to view multiple budget periods, and there are options below to view either the Year 1 or Year 2 totals within the currently selected budget period.
